Peter Matson is a musician, DJ, producer, and leader of the seminal NYC post-punk afro band Underground System.
He’s toured internationally and produced their records on Soul Clap, Hell Yeah, Planet e, with forthcoming releases on Razor-n-Tape and Heavenly Sweetness. His recent solo 12" releases are finding their home on Brooklyn label Bastard Jazz as well as Dam Swindle's Heist Recordings
